Terms of Use
These terms cover the Desert Crawl website and the Desert Crawl mobile game, including crew play on the gigantic crab fortress. Last updated 23 October 2026.
Agreement
These terms are a business agreement between you and Desert Crawl Support Desk, 46, 52 Lady Lawson St, Edinburgh EH3 9DW, United Kingdom. Desert Crawl is a mobile game about teaming up to explore endless dunes on a gigantic crab that is both transportation and a mobile fortress. By browsing this website or by playing the mobile game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website and do not play. Read this page with the privacy policy and the cookie policy. Nothing here asks you to follow a third-party address.
The mobile game
Desert Crawl is a cooperative mobile game. Players load cannons, dodge obstacles, repair machinery, and defend the crew with close-combat weapons. Page descriptions are general introductions, not a promise that every phone or update will show the same encounter or crew size. Art and features can change as we balance the sandy seas. A feature in one build may be adjusted later if that keeps play fair. Keyboard, mouse, or a compatible controller may be supported on some versions, as described inside the mobile game.
Website use
This website publishes information about the Desert Crawl mobile game, including modes, crew roles, passes, world notes, and a direct support route. The website does not by itself create a paid contract, a saved account, a booking, or a payment relationship. You may read the pages for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy the page text or artwork to build a competing mobile game site, and you may not scrape the pages in a way that disrupts hosting. You may not attempt to break, overload, or probe the site, and you may not use the Desert Crawl name to pretend that a message comes from our support desk.
Pass information
- Pass pages are informational summaries that help you compare access before you play the mobile game.
- Cannons, crew sessions, guest seats, billing period, cancellation route, and staffed hours can vary by pass or by version of Desert Crawl.
- Use the direct support route to request the current written terms before you rely on a pass decision.
- A trial boarding is a short look at the mobile game, not a promise that every station on the crab will stay open.
- Guest seats, if offered, are limited and may not include repair bays, night battles, or extra cannon ammo.
Fair play
Play Desert Crawl fairly. Do not cheat, use unauthorised tools, attack our systems, disrupt another player's session, or exploit a bug in the cannons, the repair loop, or the movement of the crab fortress instead of reporting it. Do not harass other players during cooperative play in the mobile game. Do not choose a crew name that is unlawful, hateful, or designed to impersonate Desert Crawl staff. We may reset a display name, suspend a session, or refuse support where these terms are broken. A crew invite is a gameplay feature, not a legal partnership between players.
Virtual gear and your device
Cannons, close-combat weapons, repair parts, and fortress upgrades inside Desert Crawl are licensed content of the mobile game, not property you can redeem for cash. Unless a store listing says otherwise, virtual items have no real-world money value. We may adjust balance so the mobile game stays playable. If a paid item exists, the platform store handles the purchase, and refunds follow that store plus any right United Kingdom consumer law protects. Desert Crawl needs a compatible phone or tablet, enough storage, and, for cooperative play, a working connection. You are responsible for your own connection charges.
Intellectual property
The name Desert Crawl, the crab fortress, the desert environments, the animations, the sound, and the text on this website are protected. You may share short honest commentary about the mobile game, but you may not reuse our art to imply that you are the official publisher. Feedback you choose to send may be used to improve the mobile game without a duty to pay you, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Limitations
Desert Crawl is entertainment. It is not advice for real travel, real weapons, real repairs, or real desert survival. The mobile game and this website are provided with reasonable care, but we do not promise uninterrupted dunes, error-free battles, or a session free of delay. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that the law of Scotland and the wider United Kingdom does not allow us to limit. Subject to that, we are not liable for lost progress, lost time, or device trouble caused by unsupported hardware, unofficial software, or a choice to ignore a notice on your device.
Suspension and changes
We may suspend access to the website or the mobile game if these terms were broken, if the law requires it, or if we withdraw Desert Crawl. Where notice is required, we will give it. You may stop by uninstalling the mobile game. We may update these terms when the mobile game or this website changes, and this page will show a revised date. Continued use after a material update means you accept the revised terms, except where the law requires a clearer consent.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the applicable laws of the United Kingdom. The courts of Scotland have jurisdiction, without removing any consumer right you have to bring a claim in your home court. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected] . You may also call +441316297412 or write to Desert Crawl Support Desk, 46, 52 Lady Lawson St, Edinburgh EH3 9DW, United Kingdom. Please name the page and, if the question is about the mobile game, the device model and the version shown in Desert Crawl. The desk replies Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm.
